Submission Guidelines for IBTTA’s blog, Tolling Points

IBTTA publishes its blog, Tolling Points, weekly. We like to feature a wide mix of transportation and tolling industry topics and voices. If you see industry news happening or want to submit an idea for consideration, we want to hear from you and ask that you follow these guidelines.

Please submit your blog topic using the form below.  Bill Cramer, Director of Communications, will contact you upon receipt.  You can also reach Bill at bramer@ibtta.org for any additional questions..

We welcome ideas that:

  • Are substantive, not promotional;
  • Address a key issue or opportunity in tolling, user-financed mobility, project finance, transportation technology, or a related area;
  • Offer a balanced, evidence-based perspective;
  • Present an unexpected or offbeat aspect of an issue that is already in circulation; and
  • Are in the range of 700 to 1,500 words.

You can submit a story idea in one of two ways:

  • If you see a story that you think IBTTA should cover, please send a note telling us why you think it is important, along with a link to the story; and
  • If you would like to submit a blog post written by you or a colleague to be published on Tolling Points with your bylined, please provide the required information below, along with your proposed blog meeting the criteria above.
