2025 Maintenance, Engineering & Roadway Operations Workshop

Known as the Motor City and the birthplace of Motown, Detroit is a city built on innovation, resilience, and a legacy of hard work—making it the perfect setting for this annual Workshop to tackle the real-world challenges of keeping our infrastructure safe, efficient, and reliable. From safety and asset management to emergency preparedness, cybersecurity, and beyond, this workshop will feature interactive discussions and problem-solving sessions designed to uncover practical solutions, best practices, and strategies that attendees can take back and implement at their own agencies.

A Technical Tour is being planned for Saturday, July 26, followed by IBTTA Foundation’s Annual Service Project on Sunday, July 27—this is your chance to give back to the local community while connecting with fellow industry professionals before the workshop kicks off. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.

  • Room Rates: $249 Single/Double (room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at the time of check-out, (currently 15%)
  • Cut-off date: July 5, 2025, 11:59pm ET. Reservations made from this date onwards will only be accepted on a room and rate availability basis.
  • Cancellation Policy: Reservations can be canceled up to 48 hours prior to arrival without penalty. The room block for this meeting is expected to sell out. IBTTA always recommends that you secure your hotel room early to guarantee a room in the conference hotel. Adjust your room dates later once you confirm your travel plans.

Each year IBTTA partners with a local organization in the city hosting the Workshop to make a positive impact. Stay tuned for 2025 details, and prepare to join your colleagues for a rewarding experience. Those planning to participate in the Service Project should plan to arrive in Detroit on Saturday, as volunteers are up and on the move early. Check back soon for additional details!
