Board Nominations are Open

IBTTA is accepting nominations for the Board of Directors, Second Vice President and International Vice President for the 2027 leadership cycle.

Board membership is open to toll operator members of IBTTA. The Board of Directors is composed of five officers and 20 directors. Officers serve a one-year term and directors serve staggered four-year terms. 

  The nomination period is open from July 1-August 31, 2026, 5:00 PM ET

How to apply to serve on the IBTTA Board of Directors

If you are interested in serving on the IBTTA Board, please email please email Mark Chung, Executive Director & CEO, the following information: 

  • A letter expressing interest in serving in the position sought.
  • A brief resume outlining professional experience and involvement with tolling, transportation and IBTTA.
  • A letter signed by the organization's Chair or the nominee's supervisor confirming support for the nomination, including the time and financial commitment required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position (see below).

  All three items above should be submitted together in a single email to [email protected], no later than August 31, 2026 at 5:00pm ET

Board of Directors Time and Financial Committment 

  • Actively participate in Board service, including attending Board meetings in person and virtually when necessary. Board meetings may occur during standard business hours and require advance planning and prioritization.
  • Ensure organizational support for the time, travel, and expense commitments associated with Board service, including attendance at meetings and key Association events.
  • Serve as an ambassador for IBTTA, advancing and advocating for the Association’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan.
  • Remain actively engaged in IBTTA’s work, including participation in events, committees, and initiatives, and staying informed on key industry and Association priorities.
  • For Board Officers, recognize that additional time, travel, and leadership commitments are expected—particularly for the President—in connection with governance responsibilities, industry engagement, and representation of the Association.
