On Sunday, October 12, 2008, IBTTA joined forces with Rebuilding Together™ New Orleans (RTNO), a local affiliate of Rebuilding Together, Inc. and a program of the Preservation Resource Center, to sponsor the home of a family displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Through its charitable Foundation, IBTTA raised funding to support the construction and administrative costs associated with this project as well as gathered a group of energetic volunteers to paint the house of our sponsored family. We spent a day with our colleagues and friends to make a positive difference in the lives of a New Orleans family.
