Luciana Iorio has a law degree com laude, an MBA and specializations in diplomatic relations, international politics, public governance and sustainable development. She works at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, is chairing Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety (WP1) at UNECE, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), based in Geneva Palais des Nations.
She was also the founding first chair of the United Nations Road Safety Fund.
She is a member of the International Advisory Committee of the College of Traffic Management, IRTE, in Delhi, India. He is a member of the jury of the Global Road Safety Film Festival. She is regularly engaged with cutting-edge clusters engaged in policy dialogue on safe mobility and automotive technological advancements- as a catalyst factor for sustainability, inclusiveness, equity for social progress. It is also involved with universities, in relation to policies for future mobility, such as the University of Genoa, Birmingham, Belgrade, Delft, Bologna, Padua, Naples.
