Dr. Michael Manser is Director of the Center for Transportation Safety at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) and a nationally recognized expert in human factors and roadway safety. With nearly 30 years of experience, his work focuses on driver behavior, distracted driving, and the interaction between humans and emerging transportation technologies. He leads a team of 70 researchers and educators advancing transportation safety initiatives across Texas and the nation, and has played a leading role in shaping national research and policy discussions on vehicle automation, driver attention, and roadway safety.
