The 2025 IBTTA Global Tolling Summit takes place September 24–27 in Montreal, with an optional Pre-Summit Technical Tour in Toronto on September 23. Below you'll find hotel information for both cities to help you plan your travel seamlessly. And don't forget to check out the Pre-Summit Tour tab for Toronto Technical Tour information, there is an option to travel together with IBTTA by train to Montreal following the Tour. Departure from Toronto
Following the tour on Wednesday, those wishing to travel by train as a group will have the option to join a reserved IBTTA group train car from Toronto to Montreal. This train ticket can be purchased during conference registration and IBTTA will manage distribution of the tickets. Please see the Pre-Summit Tour tab above for more details.
Those who do not join the train can make thier way to Montreal indepently.
Visit the world’s first all-electronic toll road in Toronto, Ontario and get an inside look at the operations behind 407 ETR. This technical tour will explore how the highway keeps drivers moving smoothly on and off the road, while showcasing the innovative tools and strategies used to enhance the customer experience.
Attendees will also learn how 407 ETR manages winter operations, and see the wide-wing snow plows that gained attention during one of Toronto’s snowiest seasons on record. Tour highlights include an overview of dynamic driving offers designed to encourage more trips through promotions and discounts, and how 407 ETR is expanding its community investments and strengthening its social license to operate.
Tour participants will leave the hotel at 8:00am and return at approximately 1:00pm.
Hop aboard the IBTTA Express to Montreal following the Pre-Summit Technical Tour. Enjoy a train ride alongside industry friends and colleagues. Attendees will travel in an IBTTA-reserved Business Class train car with complimentary food and beverage service included, excluding alcohol. Transportation to and from the train stations will also be provided. Infants and children under 2 years old may ride free of charge.
Train departs Toronto at 3:23pm; arrives Montreal at 8:25pm. Those who want to join this trip can choose it during the Event registration process.

- 8:00am-9:00am: Travel from Hyatt to 407 ETR (timing accounts for weekday traffic)

Train to Montreal (optional)
Following the tour, attendees may choose to trvel to Montreal abour an IBTTA-reserved group train car. The fee includes One Business Class train seat aboard the reserved car and Food and beverage service. Transporation to and from the train stations will be provided.

- Availability: Space is limited and expected to fill quickly. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
