IBTTA’s Distracted Driving webinar launched the 3rd Annual Global Road Safety Week by bringing together voices from across the road safety ecosystem for a timely discussion on one of today’s most persistent roadway challenges. The conversation explored how federal and state leaders, toll operators, researchers, technology providers, advocates and safety professionals are approaching distracted driving through policy, operations, education, enforcement and prevention. As part of this year’s Be Safe Together campaign, the webinar highlighted the importance of collective action and reinforced a simple but critical message: your attention is your most important safety feature—put your mind in drive.
